2004 RM 85 Front Brake Switch

Recommended Posts

On my 2004 RM 85 the front brake caliper has one piston. I want to switch to the more powerful two piston version on years 2005 and up. Will the bolt holes line up correctly? Do different rotors need to be put on also? Thanks for any help.

If you are looking for a more powerful front brake, I personally would just look into installing a stainless steel brake line and maybe even an over size rotor.

I already have the Braided steel line, bleed the brakes often, high performance pads also. I've just notices that the other 85's with the 2 piston calipers have so much more stopping power. I am also VERY dependent on the front brake.
