YOu guys aren't listening to Ricky Stator. Reread what Ricky said.

If you absolutely need a headlight for a CR250, get the helmet headlight setup w/ LED. THat's the best mousetrap out there for the USA CR250 currently.

IF you need to license plate a CR250, and you need a functioning lighting system, you're pretty much out of luck. In such a case, a thumper is the better bike

to plate.

Same one, Electrosport. If we could have made a stator to run a 35 watt bulb at a decent RPM we would have. Typical response from electrosport not giving the output because I dont think anyone there really knows. When they first offered this stator we bought one to test, 20 watts with the bike revved up was the output.

Excellent! 20 watts is perfect, because this is the light I am going to run which happens to be rated for 20 watts:

Hey guys, I think that the Double Stryk would work great as a high beam booster on a dual sport bike. I've mountain biked with all of our mountain bike lights and the Double Stryk is insanely bright.

We've had a lot of customers asking about mounting options on the vehicle kit so this is something our engineers will be working on sometime in the near future. The Double Stryk and Squadron use the same optics and LED circuitry so the beam pattern on the Double Stryk is literally half of a Squadron. It would definitely be a noticeable addition. Here is a link to a video you have to see http://vimeo.com/34666326[/url"]http://http://vimeo.com/34666326"]http://vimeo.com/34666326[/url], this is the Las Vegas Enduro cross Baja Designs night race. This rider won and he only has two Double Stryk's mounted to his helmet; nothing on the bike itself. Also as a note the hot spot you see on the video are not there, the light is actually distributed evenly, but unfortunately the camera caught the bright light and did't know how to process it. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions. :bonk:

]RS is right on the mark.. If you have a electonic Power vaved 250R then you can run a LED from there.. I think that is in 03 and newer Cr 250's??

Cyclops offers many battery powered LED and HID lighting systems all using our exclusive Stack Pack Li-po batteries.. Helmet lights are nice and the best IMO for off road riding., but if you want to dual sport that wont cut it..

Here are a few possible options none are DOT approved.. No big deal in some states like Wa..

If you guys have any questions in regards to the Double Stryk vehicle kit please feel free to ask. By the way Ricky Stator is spot on, the battery powered light or helmet light would be the way to go with your bike. It's kind of like trying to run a dual sport kit on a YZF 450, it just is not capable of happening.

Thanks,
