2012 SXF 350 Idling Issue

Hi,

Any one with 2012 SXF 350 (or any 2011 - 12 SXF) have idling issues? Mine has about 6 hours on it. Once it is started it runs for a minute or so and then dies. This even occurs when it is warm. The idle does sound a bit lower then when I first purchased it. Not sure what this could be.

First thing to try is increasing your idle speed a bit, turn the fast idle knob to the left a few clicks and see if that helps. The new FI bikes seem to like slightly higher idles to stop flame outs and stalls, both my KTM and KX run better with the idle on the higher side.

yep yep i agree most likely the idel screw, i also notice that for the first 10 hours on my 11' 350 that i had very poor idel control but it has since cleaned up nicely!
