suspension

Recommended Posts

hi

need some help with my suspension

it's a 04 rm 250, and in the sand i really can't get the settings right, so today the bike whipped me off while bouncing from one rut to another, pretty hard crash and this was it, time to get the suspension right

i bought the bike from a pretty big guy (i think he almost weighs double as much as me), now i know he put some money in the suspension

rear spring is a special one here made in europe, very costly, but the suspension is just too hard overall, on a hard track it's doable, but not in the sand

can someone show me what spring rates i need (front and rear)?

i weigh 65 kilo's, that's 143 lbs

i'd look in my manual but can't find the bloody thing atm :bonk:

Fill in everything it needs to know (riding style weight bike ect.) and it spits it out for you. Another member on here (i forget who at the moment) showed me this when i had questions about my suspension.

That was Me,,,,,Go Racetech, and get it over with,,, it's 200 bucks,, well worth the cost,,,You can tune that suspension just right,, nice and soft, but, still can take on some big jumps,,,,re-valving, will make the difference on those bikes........good luck Bubba..............Dr.D..
