exhaust mod? help me please

i resently bought a 2009 ktm sx450f allstock forks revalved and re spung, its rediculessly fast LOL! has a reclouse z star pro in it i think itwould have put my 2011 yz450f in some trouble.

but any ways to the topic ive notised ever since ive had bikes when you put you hand over the exhaust a little behind it, it gets deeper and louder! sound is not an issue where i ride so its how i want it to sound. so leading to my question if attached a peice of tin to my exhaust and have it like a L and the _ peice of the L infront of the exhaust will it do any harm? i do not think it would its not onbstructing exhaust flow as it is allreddy out of the exhaust and how do you guys think i should attach it to my stock exhaust i have a few ideas i just want your imput. im getting a lexx mxe exhaust with mid pipe and will only be running the race tip for max noise. possably be mounting on both exhausts. i will get around to posting pictures after a few posts.

You'll get the best sound taping a baseball card over the end of the muffler. I do it to all my bikes. Just tape one side so the card will flap and let the exhaust out.

The bike is plenty loud. Leave it alone and worry about maintenance and riding skills.

not loud enough for my liking, im plenty skilled enough as is and maitence is done regularly

The card's been working for me except in the mud. Then it does get destroyed. FMF is making some new adjustable muffler bearings that you can adjust for more or less sound. Maybe try one of those.

i cut a peice of tin and painted it rust proof gloss black, and gorilla taped it on my exhaust tip and this thing roars like and animl now!
