Where can I find a mikuni 33 pumper carb?

Recommended Posts

I've checked XR's only and they dont have any. And ive seen the mikuni 33 flatslides range from $200-400? Are they all the same? And are all compatible with the XR250r? Do they all have the "push/pull" throttle cable setup?

I want to ditch the stock carb quickly, as I'll be doing intake and exhaust mods. And I can't stand kicking the bike 10-20 times after going down.

Awesome! But why the price difference between them all?

Is the push/pull setup better than the others, or more reliable?

Or just more expensive?

If I go with just a pull type, I'll need a new cable for that correct? Where can I get that, and once that cost is factored in is it worth the trouble? I'd prefer just to be able to slap the carb on a go!

Finally.... why the hell does a dirtbike carb the size of a golf ball cost the same as carb for my jeep!

Thanks,

No dont buy the 2-stroke carb (pull cable only non pumper)

Buy a 4-stroke (PUMPER) carb, Shown below (Go for the cheapest ofcourse)>

This one is the cheapest but shows the wrong carb pic but listed as a pumper to suit 4-stroke?>

If I can I can figure out which carb has the push/pull setup im going to stick with that for simplicity even if it costs a little more. Any way to tell? Or should I just contact the sellers?

Thanks again for the help!

I have not fitted one myself but from what I have read it bolts straight on which makes it a 15 minute job to change using your original throttle pull cable, No need for the return cable
