What's the best way for an S owner to aquire an E head pipe?

And is that a good compromise for a CA owner who wants to remain legal and fairly quiet but still compliment the rejet + 3X3 mod a bit?

It's a direct fit on the S, right?

I believe you have to get the S tail pipe widened a bit to fit the larger E header , but it has been done by quite a few people on this site , greg

I would make sure it is the larger diameter E header , I do know that cali has the S/SM that is now called an E model . There is an standard large diameter pipe , we aussies have them . So just make sure you get the right one , greg

I just picked up a stock E header/exhaust for 105 shipped off ebay. Hoping everything mounts up OK-ishly. I know I'll have to make a bracket for the midpipe apparently, but we'll see.

I have an s and e headpipe and a muffler (not sure if its e or s), I was just in the garage looking at them, will have to measure them to make sure which one is which.

I've got a mint condition E header. Maybe had it on my bike for a month or so before getting a new exhaust.

I'm in Australia, so may be not worth it considering postage. But if interested can take pics and send to you...Give me a PM if you are.... (I actually got the full system from an E )

The FMF power bomb head pipe is essentially the same as the E. If you find used head pipes are too steep you might look at them. I think it is the same spacer removal athe the mid pipe as the E pipe conversion.
