Second set of Rims

Going to buy a second set of rims/wheels for my MX bike for those quick changes when the conditions change. Any suggestions of what to buy or should i just get stock. (OEM)

had good luck with warp 9 ....comes with sprocket and rotor for less then 400 bucks shipped ....not bad. Just got a back up rear rim for my ktm --like to keep one for a knobby and one for trials tire and change accordingly.

Had one for my yz and it held up very well.

I bought my second set from FasterUSA on ebay. I found them in the back of my moto magazines. They came with Excel Tasako rims with billet aluminium hubs. No sprockets , no disc brakes for $700 or so. They have heavy duty spokes as well. So far, i like them alot.

Thanks for the replies. Been looking around on-line also and starting to think that a portable tire stand and a brother in law might be the way to go. Did't realize new sexy wheels were so expensive.

Getting a 2nd rear wheel is handy. I now only have one set, and I can never decide what point I should change tires. I had a spare set before, I would use the one with the new tire on for racing, then switch back for practice days. So I could get both more hours out of tires and have fresh tires for race days. Downside with this plan is now deciding when to change chains and sprockets.

I,m looking for a second set of wheels for my WR250F to mount studded ice race tires. I got a front on ebay for $55.00 just need to find a rear 18". That seems to be a little harder to find but I have 8 mounths to find it.

Just look on eBay. Lots of bikes are being parted out and many different wheels will fit on others.

I bought a set of stock KTM wheels and man, hey are awesome. I run mousses in them so they are great for when the race comes, I just switch them out with my practice rims.

$500 will get you a set of whatever color you want DNA rims spokes and hubs. Loved mine, they held up better than my stock rims on a crf 250.
