The email I got from Yoshimura says their pipe will be available in January. I think that's the one I'll get.

Is there a difference between the aftermarket pipes or just looks and sound? For example Yoshimura vs FMF?

Nice...

A quick review would be great, but I'd like to know how the seat is after it has broken in too... :)

Most seats feel better after a few hundred miles of use. They change some to conform to your cheek shape or something... :smirk:

I have spent plenty but, other than me being a Honda fan when it comes to 4 stroke dirt bikes.

I had this plan to build the perfect dirt bike for my needs

I didn't want to try to make a dirt bike legal and also wanted the low maintenace of the dual sport. This Honda was perfect for the job as it is very cheap. No matter what dual sport I bought I would still have wanted to trick it out with custom parts.

I could be wrong but, I am going to have one Bad A$$ machine when finished

I also forgot to mention tires on my wish list.

you see ..... I have a problem. My boy is 11 and on a CRF80F ... soon to be upgraded to a CRF150R and I will need to keep up

Was riding my 450, testing out a new speedometer, shifted into 2nd, moved a couple feet and heard a loud crack noise from engine area. Will not turn over, sounds like its jammed or seized from moving. My guess is tat the timing chain just exploded and fouled everything up. Haven't found time to open it up. Thought I'd go to forums to get some opinions on what to look at first. As far as back round info: Engine was opened up to replace some gaskets. replaced my valves and adjusted rockers to .05mm. Timing chain taken apart a couple times. Shifts through gears fine even though it doesn't run. I am not very fond of ktms or dirt bikes in general but fairly mechanically inclined. I don't know what to do so here I am on the forums. Any help or advice is much appreciated. Thank you.

Has anybody purchased/used one of these Arrowhead IHA6017 cdi boxes??  I tried 2 different ones of these on a 1987 and 1994 XR200R, and the bikes won't even start.  Bikes just pop and backfire, had to put the old cdi's back on.  I noticed when I ordered the boxes they stated "advance ignition curves" in the specs.  The box is also much bigger than the stocker and won't fit in the rubber mount.  I didn't mess with moving around the timing to try and get these to work....I just sent them back.
