I sold my KTM 500XC-W to my nephew earlier this year, and regretted it almost immediately. What to do? Get a new one. Except the KTM dealer was out of stock, and while more were coming, the Husky dealer down the road made me a better deal. I have always like Husqvarna's and hadn't owned one since my 2006 TE510. BOOM! Orange turns to white and blue, and I'm back with TEAM Husqvarna!
So far I have bobbed the rear sub fender and replaced the rear blinkers with Sicass LED's. I added an AXP skid plate. I have MOTOZ Tractionators and a platinum FMF 4.1 on order, and already have the reed-less intake boot and a Power Commander 5 in the garage waiting for installation. While parts are arriving I'm enjoying the heck out of the motor in its admittedly stiffled form, and don't know exactly how much of a hurry I am in to uncork it. It's that good. I love HP and torque, and know it will make the bike better, but earnestly, for non-competition, so far it's done everything I've asked of it.
