Love it!

I had a 1991 Cat Prowler 440 Special in highschool for bombing fields and roads. The new modern suspension and ergonomics produce a completely different vehicle and almost a different sport. I ride up north in NY and Vermont. I ride out of Island Pond, VT and Lowville NY

Price and Mileage are from when I bought it. Currently I have about 5000 miles on sled. Winter 2012-13 i did over 2000 miles

She's my baby. As a highschooler back in '02 I picked this quad up off ebay from MI for $1,700. Spent the next 3+ years fixing up and riding it. After going away to college my parents said I could only keep one of my two quads as we had limited storage space.

I sold it to a guy off ebay from NJ for $3,400 and as soon as he was driving away I regretted it. Fast forward 7 or 8 years later and I reached out to the buyer via ebay just out of curiosity as to how the quad was doing.

He informed me he had done new rims, new bars, new headlights, new plastics, new seat cover, Power-coated frame & A-arms, 2 brand new exhaust systems (Trinity racing and FMF), front steel braided brake lines, swingarm skidplate, new chain, all new bushings, and a rebuilt motor.

He told me it was 95% back together and make an offer if I was interested so I lowballed him and offered $3,000. He took my first offer so last year, my baby finally came back home!!! <3

Turns out the motor had been sitting since the rebuild and had corrosion issues. Had to do main bearings and new connecting rod. Also, the detent spring was not properly attached and the cases had to be split. Chug Henry of Chugs Moto Performance in Woodbury CT did the motor up for me and it has been running strong since. This spring after sitting for over 6 months it started 3rd kick.

    My 900 Dollar Special!

Somebody sold their Polaris Sportsman and bought this bike (they said for $1000) because their little brother had an RM125 and he wanted to ride with his little brother. Long story short; He dumped the bike in the yard a few times and then it sat under his parent's porch for 3 years.

I picked it up from this kid for 900 bucks, added Acerbis bark busters, pulled apart and cleaned it, Cleaned air filter & box, changed gear oil, and added fresh gas(Klotz Super-Techniplate 80% synthetic 20% Castor mixed at 36:1

I then rode the bike for the next two seasons with no troubles! :)
