My first bike. I think most know about the reliability of the XR50. 14 years old and is still a single kick starting bike. Its a backyard bike because that is what it is best at. Mod list is extensive mostly confined to minor things that make a big difference. Things such as: BBR big bar kit, SL70 manual clutch kit, Dunlop Geomax MX31, Extended fork legs along with heavy duty rear spring, ported intake, UNI pod filter, and timing advance mod. It will take some time to get short reviews on each of these mods. So check back soon.

It's not all that comfortable on the street and it is heavy off road. The XR-L really shines on fire cut single track and logging roads. The torque is never lacking down low, but likes to eat tires, so it's a little difficult to hold traction out of sandy turns. Get this bike and let it be the last dual-sport you will ever need to own (just make sure you add an over-sized gas tank)

This bike suits my riding perfectly. With a tooth down on the front sprocket, this bike loves super tight single track, more technical the better. After playing with the stock suspension adjustments it tracks great even on the rockiest, wet rooted trails. Can't say enough good things about this bike. With typical maintenance and stainless steel intake valves swap, the bike has a long life ahead of it on the PA mountains.

This the bike of choice when I head to the moto track. The bike was remapped by a local race team, to have the bike hit harder in the lower and mid RPM range. I'm by no means a 250F rev-er, between the remap and the FMF snap ( http://www.thumpertalk.com/reviews/product/42863-fmf-snap/) it really matches my riding style. The bike also has Acerbis roost guards, and T-9 Decal Works custom graphics.
