So what that it handles and stops like a boat anchor with wheels, it is just a groovy motorcycle that for some odd reason is really fun to ride, even in the dirt! It even gets descent gas mileage. I must say that I never thought I would own a Harley until I bought my first one a 2003 FXDP Police Defender and I got the bug. Then a 1998 Dyna FXDL now a 1995 Sportster 883 with 1200 cc kit (as I always joked a Sportster is a "girls bike") I am eating with fork and spoon all the things that I used to say about Harley's. Over priced, over rated, pencil sharpener technology, weak brakes, oil leaking, ill handling, poser machine, slow when compared to other machines of same cubic displacement and no, I do not own any patches, stickers, trailer hitch covers etc that say Harley Davidson. Only my Sportster  says Harley Davidson on the gas tank and i flog it.

Love is in the Air, I named her "Lotedory" (lote) Last of the evolution engine. Just bought this beauty December 17th 2016. Not fast, very smooth with alot of torque. No skulls, no flames, no bling blang. I have been riding since 1969, motocross, off-road and road. I have over 15 motorcycles in my garage, but just one Harley and I just love it!

Well, please let me first say that I used to be one of those guys who said Harley's were pieces. They are Over rated, Hog Kooks poser ridden, under powered, low tech, oil dripping, evil handling, (some are)boat anchors with wheels. I have owned well over a hundred motorcycles so far in my sweet short life of 57. A good friend of mine who shared the same view as me worked for a motorcycle exhaust company and was testing one of there new pipes on a (at the time) 1999 Dyna. He called me that night and said he had taken out the fork and spoon to eat all the harsh words he had ever spoken about Harleys and was going down to the H.D dealership the next day to buy one. I laughed my ass off! I asked if he had conked his nogin. Mind you he used to road race and desert race too. A few months went buy when I came to visit him, he offered to let me ride his Dyna. I did. Hmmm, there was something (remember the Beetles song) about the ride. A few years past and I found myself bidding on Ebay on a 2003 FXDP that was just so beautiful with black and red pin striping, screaming Eagle pipes etc $11,200. it was mine. Something in the way she moves.... I named her Klamildahyde. I do not no why, maybe a kitchen remodel, but I sold her and missed the bike so much. Now, This weekend, (just in time for Christmas) I am buying a 1998 (last of the Evo)Dyna FXDL. Yup, I conked my nogin, but thats okay..attracts me like no other lover..
