Outstanding dual sport. Now that the intense 4T vibration issue has been solved it is even better. Tires wear out quickly on the street. Beautiful bike that is a one of a kind in the market.

I really like this bike - with the modifications that I've made to the engine & suspensions it is a great vintage trail bike. The MR was a three year only model and parts, particularly NOS, are getting hard to find. The bike is loosely based on the CR & MT 125's (more the MT I think since it uses a modified MT frame) and came from the factory with CR125 type forks and rear shocks. The MR also shares the swingarm from the early CR125's. The engine uses a unique crankcase, crank, piston, cylinder but does use the same carb as the early CR125 Elsinore models. I didn't know this bike existed back in 1976 when I was graduating from HS since I was focused on the CR models but I like to think that I would have owned one if I had know about it. I like that it isn't a common bike even in the vintage world. My friend Ray Ivers has played a huge role in helping me get this bike to the level it is at and developed the porting specifications to make the engine a torque monster.
