Nice trail bike for all around use, especially  if you plan to do pavement and open  desert in the mix.  Also will handle single track pretty well, but not as easy to finesse the gobs of low end torque in tough slow technical situations as it would be with a smaller machine.  Still gets the job done though.  Suspension valving pretty good off the showroom floor, but needs a little tuning for the above mentioned technical situations.  I don't weigh all that much, so I installed lighter springs (.42 for the forks, 4.2 for the shock).  Stock tires are great for the pavement, lousy for the dirt.  Trying different tire combos, which is easy to do, since the bike tends to wear tires pretty rapidly compared to my old 450  Stock gearing very high.  I went with a 48 on the rear to make tight trails more manageable.  Also swapped the stock seat for a Guts Racing standard soft seat.  I installed a heat shield on the exhaust header as of late....tired of melting pants in low speed tip overs.  Will install wrap around style handguards soon, as they look and protect better than stock ones.   Pretty happy with it.  It's just too tall for me, but so are all the modern dirt bikes.

Nice, reliable on/off road bike built in Italy by MV Agusta. Over 500 hours on the engine now, and still going strong.

A great bike for single track riding. Turns on a dime and plenty of torque for tip toeing through the rocky stuff.

Great little machine. The only 125 that I have ever liked for trail riding, stock out of the box. The only thing I have done to it to make it better is gear it down a bit. I haven't even bothered to put swap out the 125 top end for the spare 150 top end that came with the bike.
