Its a ok commuter bike that works pretty well in the desert. It get great fuel economy although it lacks power. I've got a full yosi exhaust and been jetted (Dynojet kit) but its still a little light on the power. Nonetheless, for me its a nice bike to commute with and take off road to the desert for some good fun. After some serious messing around with the jetting/needle, got the power numbers up a bit to do some modest off-roading. Still gets better than 60 mpg, which for surface street commuting is easy at the pump.
I've only had this bike for a short time but I will say that it seems pretty well built with a good suspension. It handles well on the road and off road. The KTM 450 RFS motor is strong under normal operation.
