I bought this bike in early 2014. I bought it as a project bike to build as a play bike for the motocross track. I had heard that the steel frame CR125's handle better than the newer style and had a stronger engine. Well of course plans change. I hadn't raced off road since I was a senior in high school in 2010. I decided that I was going to race the AWRCS Series in PA and Ohio. It is a highly competitive local series that brings in top riders such as Layne Micheal's, Thad Devuel and series regulars Micheal Miginis and Mason Antherson. So the build began I went all out and build an old school off-road weapon. At the time I had had success in 2010 by claiming a 10th place in the nation in the GNCC series in 250A, but that was mainly due to consistence and I had never won a A class event. I ran the CR in XC2-A which is 200 and under two strokes and 250 and under four strokes. At the first race I only had a couple hours on the bike during the race I learned that everyone was right. Not only was the bike a mean 125 but it was a competitive off-road machine. After I took a few races to learn the bike and get back in the swing of things I was able to win my first A class race and I ended up winning 4 races out of the 10 race series. This was enough to land me in 2nd in my class and 10th overall out of 603 point scoring riders. The high light of the year was when I landed a 5th place overall and was able to get on the podium with all the pros with a 20 year old bike. Needless to say I love the bike and it is a blast to ride. It gave the sensation of a mountain bike with high reving low power engine. The chassis handled great and the suspension is supple and compliant over the nasty stuff. What I found was due to the old design they seemed to only be able to be set up for one condition at a time and work excellent. If they work well in the rough nasty rocks and roots they would wallow in the high speed whoops and if set-up for the high speed sections they would be to stiff for the rocks and roots. overall I love the bike even when compared to a modern bike.

I picked this bike up two months ago for 1100. It has some lose bearing but in overall good shape for the money. It is my main bike at the moment. The suspension is great off rode as is the electric start. My only complaint is the slow motor. I haven't done the ccc mods yet. This bike will be getting some attention this winter.

This was my dad's first Atc which he gave to me not running. I did a lot of work to it and tore it all down to be painted 8 years ago and that's still where it sits. I'm trying to sell it to invest into my other projects. I have not been able to ride this atc.

This was my first bike. My grandpa gave it to me when I was 5. I just resently got it back up and running and I love it. It brings back many memory's and it's just a blast to ride.
