Great handling machine with good motor, feels light and strong.
Suspension is a little bit on a stiff side (I'm 147 pounds), but still good if you set the sag correctly. CR125 is shorter than most other bikes I've ridden (YZ250, RM250, RMZ250, it even seems that my CR250 is a bit roomier, but I may be wrong), BUT it doesn't feel too small (I'm 182 cm or 6 feet tall), everything is positioned just right. Due to it being so small CR125 lacks some high speed stability that other bikes have, but it excels in other areas of the track (turns, turns, TURNS!:)).
Motor is very powerful (for 125), but still bogs down if you hit the wrong gear coming out of a loamy turn. It can be competitive against 250f's but with a skilled rider on it and suitable track, otherwise 250f's are just simply easier to ride fast and long. Gearbox and clutch work very well, no complaints.

Great handling, superb suspension, strong motor, outstanding design. Motor pulls hard from the bottom and through the mid, but signs off earlier than RM or YZ. Yami (and Suzuki) also has better carburetor which works in every condition while Honda's Mikuni feels every bit of temperature change. I use this girl only for freestyle now so I don't have to deal with detonation issue, which I felt quite a bit when I used her for MX. Suspension is as good as it gets with stock units. It can be dialed for pretty much everything - from hard enduro to freestyle (I weigh 147 pounds without gear). Great thing is that CR250 has a lot of parts intercgangeable with CR125 so I can swap them between these two hotties. Fit and finish is second to none, and the looks of CR is by far the best in the industry (moderate curves, not too sharp, not too round).
Definitely a dream bike for me.
