Obviously 5 stars, I am bias. Every, positive, review I read is true. The bike has amazing throttle response, I have read many people complain that it is too responsive and torquie off the bottom, but i would never complain of quick response and torque. This bike is also very nimble. It feel very planted and as if you were walking the trails. If I had to say something bad about it, the seat. The stock seat feels like it was carved from wood. Not a big deal cuz we don't sit enough to warrant buying a new one. If I think of anything else, I will update you.

Great bike, odd valve train. I am a die-hard Yamaha guy and I only got this thing to sell later but this thing is an animal and I don't think I'll be getting rid of it anytime soon. I got it with super advanced timing and super lean. But after a JD jet kit, white bros exhaust, and re-timed it really opened up. Everyone should ride one at least once!!!

*UPDATE* Just finished the build and have ridden it throught the break-in process. I am thrilled with the bike so far, it rides nice/smooth and sounds evil. Great responsivness and power on demand. So far the mods i know of include A.I.S. delete, Jd jetting (leak jet #50; main jet #165; start jet #65; pilot jet #45; red needle on 4th position), ZIPTY fuel screw, o-ring on accel pump, YZ450F throttle stop, YZ450F front and rear springs, YZ450F exhaust, YFZ450 oiler, YAMALINK lowering link (I'm short), and PRO TAPER handlebars. The grey wire is still connected, running stock cams, and the air box is still stuffed up. So far the bike starts with one kick hot or cold, so i don't think i'll change the current configuration right away.

haven't ridden it yet, but it seem pretty much the same as the wr426f.
