It was A good bike to learn on and power was mellow meaning I could focus on my riding more than trying to control the bike. The drum brakes were horrible and as soon as they got wet you basically had no brakes. And then it just started breaking down on me so got rid of it. Overall good first bike but wouldn't buy another one.

This was my 1999 RM 125, it’s quite powerful and reliable I have never had a problem with it. Was fun while I owned it but was useless for the type of riding I was doing so it had to go. I put in a wiseco forged piston and it was a lot crisper. Just not a good trail/enduro bike as most would know. Cool bike.

This bike is a wicked trail bike. It has great brembo front and rear callipers that could bring you to a halt immediately but if you just want to ease into a corner they are perfect for that too. It comes with Marzocchi suspension that makes you feel like you are gliding over or all the bumps you’d usually seem to feel on any other bike. This is a very powerful bike but it has a really smooth traceable power. It has got a 6 speed gear box so when you’re flying through all the open tracks you've got the extra gear if you are really keen. It has twin mufflers at the back making it just look really good but sounds awesome. This bike really hauls arse. This bike is very easy to ride as the power delivery is so predictable so through tight or up steep stuff you can really focus on your technique through the technical section rather than trying to control the bike. Most people hop on this bike expecting it to be a monster but it proves them opposite. The mid-range torque helps the rear wheel really bite the track and finds traction. Most riders are put off the bike straight away because of the left and kick start but it is comparatively easy. It also has a decompression lever so when you are tired and have sore legs it is still not hard to start. If kick starting isn't your thing it is an easy bike to crash start. A few down sides to the bike is that the hydraulic cam chain tensioner packs in so I just put a manual one on it and went sweet. Another down side is the push pull accelerator cables as the friction rubbing on the sleeves bakes it hard for the spring on the carb to come it to play but by taking our the push cable it works 100% better. If you aren’t that strong you may be put of this bike as it weighs 125kg so when you’re climbing a hill and you come off it may be hard for some people to lift back up but personally I didn't find it too bad. The handles at the back of the seats purpose is just to make to bike more user friendly. If you are standing up and just need to pull the rear end around it just makes life that little bit easier.

Awesome bike :)I have owned a XR200, RM125, TE410 and this and I have to admit i was unsure about this when buying it but i have had no regrets. Has power from top to bottom and is really predictable.
