Still trying to figure this bike out. I raced one when I was 17, back in the day !!! Love the classic looks.

I've raced the bike x 2 in 2015, and found a number of problems, so I've actually completely rebuilt the engine, and replaced the carb with a Mikuni. Seems to run really nicely now. Looking forward to the 2016 season !!

1999 CR500AF. A solid base bike, with 1999 CR250R frame. This thing hauls, and with all that torque, it pulls like a 4 stroke down low, but with the benefit of the 2 stroke explosion mid range upwards. Love it !

Its a 10 year old motocross bike, with very low hours. Perfect for an Enduro conversion.

This bike astounds me. One day I'm riding MX on a track, the next I'm riding in the desert on single track. Its unstoppable, and just so easy and forgiving. I love this bike.

For my girl friend. I love Honda, but she loves green.

After a lot of tuning, upgrading, expense, and frustration, I finally got this bike running great. Out of the box, this bike just doesn't cut the mustard. Very poor performance, assuming you're looking for some level of performance in purchasing this bike. If it wasn't for a lot of work on my end, I'd throw this bike in a dump !!! Yes its that bad "out of the box".

I'm starting to like the little green machine now. My 1st recommendation is get rid of the standard carburetor. Its beyond crap. A flat side Mikuni is a great alternative. Secondly, other than installing KX forks, I believe RaceTech Emulators on the standard forks, works great. If you keep the standard forks, the possibility of new springs (depending on rider size / riding style), will really help.

The last mod I'm considering is the rear shock, but haven't got there yet.
