I have owned many bikes over the years and without a doubt in my military mind, the DRZ is the best bike I have owned. The constant power, the reliant motor, and the beloved support from the DRZ community over the years is what makes this bike a true gem. It is a do it all kind of bike and has kept a smile on my face every time I twist the throttle. I bought mine in 2017 for $3,200 and it was bone stock with only 2,224 miles on the odometer. I have performed the critical fixes for the bike along with many other typical upgrades like the 3x3 mod, side stand delete, clutch kill delete, sprocket change to 15T/47T, added the DRC edge kit, Zeta hand guards, Bash plate, Pro Taper Evo CR High Bend bars, added 7 Inch LED light bar above a new RMZ250 Fender, PowerMadd Mirrors, Unabiker Rad Guards, OPT7 LED Light, UniAir Filter, CR8E spark plug, added a CVK40 carb from a 2009 KLR 650 with a Dyno Jet kit. Acerbis 3.9 Gallon Tank, Seat Concepts standard seat, Kendra Trackmaster 760 tires, IMS Pro Series footpegs, Full FMF Q4 with powerbomb header, Lithium super light weight Battery, and a R1 Quick Turn Throttle Tube. The bike is excellent and super reliable.
Future Mods include a set of Hot Cams 2003-IN & 2003-EX that I picked up off of E-Bay, a Cylinder Works 434 Big Bore Kit, RaceTech Springs and Gold Valves for the Front, Steel Braid Brake Lines, Galfer 270mm Oversized Rotor, Trail tech 8 Inch Head light, Fork Guards, Seal Savers, and some Tusk Impact wheels with Bulldog Spokes and custom graphics.
