Comfy long haul. A beast in the twisites. Best road bike I've ever owned. It can do it all. Even a little fire road if you need to, but prepare your Italian swears if you drop it.

The bike is a work in progress. I obtained it with motor partially ripped apart and I am now in the process of a full motor rebuild. Let the fun begin!!

Amazing bike. Feels like more of a street bike than the 950 Adventure.

Electric start that works always. Never kick the bike. Bike doesn't overheat even on the slowest no air flow trails. Alot of lug and chug power which makes good traction. Suspension is very comfortable because it soaks up all trail trash effectively.

Nice bike especially after coming off modified two stroke motocross for woods riding. Bike had red power valve spring, a gnarly, and a JD jet kit. Motor is super strong.

Oh my gosh is this thing fun. I never knew how much more fun 2 strokes are. I went from a crf250rb to this. 40 pounds lighter and that powerband! Kachow. It's fast and light. I love it so much! We bought it for $2800 with a brand new rekluse clutch. We sold the clutch for $800. It also had a fresh rebuild with now 8.5 hours on it. $600 maxxis? (I think) wheels and a shaved seat. I ride trails but it is primarily an MX bike. Still rips on those trails!

So much freaking fun! The top end of a 2 stroke with all the torque in the world. Light for a 4 stroke and fly's through the gears. Only complaint is it's a 5 spd, I miss that 6th gear when I'm flying down the backroads of southern Oregon.

Barely even broken this bike in yet and I am completely hooked. Pure joy every time I start it up, constantly looking for excuses to go riding on it. For my size (5'10" 180lbs) it is a great fit, easily touch the ground with both feet flat and can manhandle it how ever I want on the road. Sure the DRZ isn't the fastest SM or the most capable but its a great bike, there's a reason why they have not changed much in 20 years.
