I love this bike, perfect for me and where I ride now, crazy good in the tight technical trails, not fast, but low center of gravity, good lower end pull, and a lower seat than most.....

This thing is incredible. It may have the most uncomfortable seat of any bike I have been on but it does not matter. The bike is a toy and it is wonderful as such.

The power from the little 450 v-twin is amazing. It does not have the off the line torque like my Yamaha but once it gets up beyond 5k it starts pulling harder and harder until around 12,000rpm! The front end does not like staying on the ground.
I have ridden a few motards and a KLR650 and they all started to weave and wiggle somewhere from the 70-85mph range. I was pleasantly surprised the Aprilia was stable at any speed and I've had it up around 110! It only takes 14 seconds to get to 100 ON DIRT, SPINNING THE TIRE!
The brakes... People complain and upgrade but I don't see why. The front has WAY more initial bite to them than any other bike I've ridden and I cannot get them to fade. The rear isn't as grabby as I am used to but works well. There is more than enough front brake to send me over the bars with moderate pressure from one finger.

I love this bike and there isn't another supermoto out there that I would rather have.

It's a great bike very low maintance and extremely durable.
Loads of torque. A little slow in the handling but still more bike than I can use. Seems to work best when moving at a good clip. Parts are readly available from the web or phone a lot of them cross to other manufacturers.
So a good bike think ducati for dirt.

This is my favorite bike to ride. It has power right off the throttle and it's a blast to ride.

I told my wife I was buying a bike with everything I wanted on it when it's new, so I ordered this on Beta's BYOB at $12,000 total, in July '14 and received it Sept '14, a great deal for what's in the bike, I was surprised she was good with that.  The bike has been reliable and has me riding faster than ever.

It has a very neutral chassis, turns very well but doesn't give much up in stability. The power is very linear and easy to use. If you wan't a hard-hitting 2 stroke, this isn't your bike. Even with the aggressive map switch and the powervalve adjuster turned in, it much more mellow than my Yz. Although the power may not be exciting, it's perfect for gnarly technical terrain. Stock forks were harsh on square-edge obstacles. The Pressure springs(small spring in the top of the fork) are known to be to stiff for most offroad riding. I had them changed out when the forks were revalved. E-start works flawlessly and starts the bike within a couple seconds when cold. Ergo's feel good to me...at 6'1", I was worried that it would feel to small to me, but that's not the case. The rear brake lever is a little low for most people, but I actually prefer it that way and it's adjustable anyway. Brakes themselves feel good, the front in particular is very strong. I don't feel they give up much to the Brembo's on the Ktm's.

40 hour update: replaced the stock rear tire within 20 hours and did the front at about the 35 hour point. I now have a tubliss front and rear, with a new rim in the front because of bad crash I had. In that crash, I also smashed the pipe, split a radiator hose, twisted both radiators, and popped the preload adjusters out of both forks. Beta fixed the forks free of charge, so no complaints there. Separate from that crash, the stock map switch is busted and I blew the fuse for the e-starter, although it blew in extremely wet conditions. The most likely culprit is the horn, it's a pretty common issue that's easy to fix. Also, the stock plastic is extremely brittle and easy to crack.

Love this bike more and more every time I ride it. The 400cc engine makes broad, friendly power but will rev up quickly to maximum power. The chassis is well balanced and turns really well. The bike is equipped with quality components (Nissin brakes, Brembo clutch, billet triple clamps and Sachs suspension). The only weak point is the standard tyres, which are FIM spec Michelins. If you are looking for a step up from a 250F enduro bike, this is the perfect step

I've only had this bike for a short time but I will say that it seems pretty well built with a good suspension.  It handles well on the road and off road.  The KTM 450 RFS motor is strong under normal operation.

Great bike in stock form, and even better once you have done a little setting up. This bike has to have the best ergo's of any dirt bike I have ever ridden. Works a treat in tight single track in spite of it being such a "big" bike.

Bike feels absolutely natural as soon as I mounted it. I am 6 feet tall and was worried about the height...I sit perfect on it. Clutch is like butter, it's the first new bike I have not stalled in first gear! I have not rode it much yet but it just rides like a dream!
