CategoryLast UpdatedReviewExcellent addition to the bike, running 6psi rear and 10psi front feels great for my riding style, traction is much improved on technical terrain and plenty of pressure with the sidewall locked down for high speed runs! Highly recommend if you have the YZ250X to do this mod. also grab a small plug repair kit to take with you, you can easily plug a tire on the trail if need be, no need to worry with removing the tire to replace a tube and kill an hour or more of your riding day! also great because you can ride back with zero air pressure in the tire and no fear of the tire coming off the rim bead.
Wow, this carb is fantastic, after fouling a plug on a 100 degree muggy day in southeastern NC and baking in the sun while waiting for a buddy to bring a replacement back, I knew there had to be a better way than continuous rejetting every time the weather changed which in NC is every other day. I almost considered trading out the bike for a fuel injected four stroke, but then i stumbled upon the Lectron website. I will admit the price was a bit hard to swallow at first as it came to almost $500 with everything, but in retrospect, it was the best $500 i spent on the bike. Since installation and initial tune (which for my bike only required the idle adjustment to be set, the needle was spot on from Lectron), i have not fouled one spark plug and that has been 2.5 years of riding on the same plug on a 250 2 stroke. that is riding winter and summer months alike and everything in between with no tuning changes to the carb and perfect flawless crisp performance and easy starting every time cold or hot. it literally is like fuel injection! I highly recommend this product for those two stroke gents out there fighting the tuning issues associated with race carbs who are just trail riders looking for worry free always tuned no hassle riding!
