Suzuki DR-Z400SM (2017)
I Have two of these. A nice black shiny one for the road setup and a strong polished aluminium one for the off-road setup. Quality materials well put together. One of the first purchases when buying a new bike. These not only look good but look after the underside of your machine.
A 18inch / 21inch combo wheel set with CnC'd centre hubs, Heavy duty stainless spokes and double rear bearings. Supplied with all the spacers requited to fit a DRZ400SM (including, but not used by me, a speedo eliminator). My local dealer (A DRZ rider himself) helped with the right brake disks - sprocket and speedo drive (from an E model) to make the speedo read correctly and the rim lock setup complete with matching blue nuts. Its a 20 minute job to change wheels from road to dirt.
I needed something to replace the standard, narrow, squishy foot pegs. These came highly recommended and in the right colour - blue - to match the wheels! These are also supplied with an extra set of aggressive studs for extra grip. The aggressive studs are not currently fitted.
Needed because it is black and has an anodised blue tip to match the wheels! Replacement Blue tips also purchased.
Great styling with indicators included. I have two sizes XC and XL (XL for winter riding) I also purchased the triple clamp mount kit. These enabled me to tidy the front of the bike up by removing the large factory indicators.
Great for tidying up the rear end of the bike. I added an extra row of Amber LEDS for indicators and removed them as well
Not strictly for an SM so some modification required to get them to fit. They do look great though and offer a lot of protection.
A brilliant addition to the DRZ S/SM. Lets the bike rev more freely and develops more power at the top. Very little or no loss of bottom end power. Makes the bike have a seductive part throttle response at most riding speeds
