Disabled TPS (throttle position sensor)
Disabled GPS (gear position sensor)
Disabled clutch pull-in e-start feature
Reroute hot start to carb (cable removed)

Can you please explain to me the benefits of disabling these features?

The GPS & TPS are involved with adjusting idle higher when in gear and lowering idle while in neutral. The idea is that this will reduce engine brake while in gear and avoid stalling. I believe this also keeps the idle very low in neutral which helps the bike pass emissions requirements.

Once you do a few mods this system becomes fickle and associated with a hanging high idle in neutral. My bike is set up pretty well and the removal of these components has eliminated any unwanted idle changes without my permission!
