$100.00CategoryCustomLast UpdatedReviewcheep cheep cheep small power gain that don't upset the campus police into giving me tics. it looks stock, but with some mods hear and there. wrapped the header pipe with D.E.I. titanium wrap all the way back to the can to save my leg and lower heat transfer to the air box.
ReviewLIGHTER than the stock unit by far and the steel sun-star i had before. the laser cut teeth look a little ruff under the paint but wore in nicely.
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewSo light! Plenty of power. I didn't experience the cold weather starting problems that I heard of. Started right up at 32*F. I did have to move the spacing foam I installed from the frunt of the battery to the back. So I could get the cables hooked up. Plenty of spacers left over too. I managed to get 5 years out of the factory battery, so I should get over twice that on this one. TT store had the best price I found for this battery.
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewInstead back in June. Does the job. Especially under half throttle. I noticed for various cruzing speeds, I don't need as much throttle as before. And in small increments is more smooth and crisp. Other wise it's still the same Manukie carb. A little better fuel economy during my regular rides to work. Took a bit of time to get the horizontal plane of the snap square with the carb slide. It's worth the money. I don't know how it may work with the future FCR carb upgrade. I went on a ride Saturday for 100miles one way and down to the foot of the mountain and got 62.5mpg. Then 50mpg on the way back up. About 10mpg better on the up to 10% ethanol 93 octane gas available everywhere unfortunately. And about the same with ethanol free gas but lower octane. Hard to find station with higher. But the point is it's worth it. Two big thumbs with all the stars.
