CategoryLast UpdatedReviewI love it! Much more accurate than stock speedo, temp gauge and tach, plus lots of extra functionality. I liked the fact that i could remove the speedo cable and gears. I put temp sensor right in head where factory sender was. I broke my factory gauges so this was an obvious choice. Thought maybe it would be too bright at night, but its not (my high beam indicator led is though).
Highly recommended. No complaints and it has been flawless.
CategoryCustomLast UpdatedReviewA previous owner removed the mechanism from the exhaust cam. I would say this was a worthy mod, but I wish I had known about it before I went fishing for the missing pieces in the engine case (they weren't there and I wasted many hours of work).
I don't know how hard this bike is to start with a compression release so I can't compare but I don't have any issues starting the bike. However, when it has been sitting a long time and I pour a little oil in the spark plug hole, it is very hard to start (compression is so high I have to stand on the kick-starter). But at least I know the KACR isn't going to explode and destroy my top end!
