CategoryCustomLast UpdatedReviewTerry Hay at Shock Treatment (Sydney Australia) fitted Racetech springs for my weight, then after doing a few laps on his test track he changed up the shim stacks in the valving (both front and back) using the stock pistons as they were "high flow" enough. Staggering improvement that stopped the bike pushing into corners, bottoming out on G-outs, and the back end kicking up over rocks/logs.
ReviewSimple to install and has made an immediate improvement to the accelerator response. Might not be as good as the discontinued R&D Powerbowl but it is VERY close to it.
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewThe Renthal Twinwall handlebars are very tough and durable, and the CR High Bend are a nice comfortable feeling bars that give lots of space to my riding position.
SSB PowerSport 12V 220CCA LH5LBS High Performance Lithium BatteryA$130.00CategoryLast UpdatedReviewStores charge between ride remarkably well, pumps out plenty of power when cold - starting my bike is a breeze with this battery. And it is ridiculously light!
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewGreat fit, great breathing - good investment.
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewEasily the most comfortable grips I have ever used
ReviewExcellent intermediate terrain rear tyre! I won't use anything else.
ReviewYou would think nice soft rubber of a Hard Terrain tyre would give lots of good traction without the knobs breaking off. Although traction was decent I suffered badly from knobs breaking off the side. With those knobs gone I now push into corners so need to replace the tyre well before I expected to.
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewNice easy fit and solid protection
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewGood solid radiator protection, good colour anodizing, and easy to fit
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewA "must have" accessory for this beast of a bike. In single track it is an absolute blessing as there isn't enough air flow to keep the engine cool without the fan.
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewAlthough the 498RR has a ton of bottom end power that almost means you don't need a Rekluse, the EXP 3.0 (RMS-7723D) just makes riding that much more enjoyable in snotty conditions. The other big bonus is being able to have a Left Hand Rear Brake.
*NB* I struggled with clutch drag for a while and discovered that putting in a second washer on the throw-out solved the problem.
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewGreat for use in tight single track. At first I thought it could do with a stronger master cylinder to improve braking power, but after making adjustments to the screw on the lever I got great feel. It is awesome for controlled braking down steep declines and for sliding the rear wheel into right turns with your leg out for balance.
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewGreat to not worry about punctures or pinch flats
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewNice to not worry about punctures or pinch flats
ReviewWell designed and great quality. Not really a visable accessory, but a valuable one that will stop my bike from stalling in water crossings and stop dust being sucked into the carb via the vent breather tubes.
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewGreat piece of kit
ReviewEasy fuel screw adjustment
ReviewMuch better and more reliable than the O-ring mod
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewWAY more comfortable than the very hard stock seat
ReviewNew tyre so I will rate it when I have something to say about it
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewNice size tank, and it comes with everything you need to install it. The one problem I had was the balancing petcock from the right of the tank leaked as it did not have a seal between the mounting plate and the screw-in pipe mounting. Putting an O-ring and using some Permatex Silicone Sealant solves the problem though.
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewIncreased space in cockpit when sitting is nice. Camber control to help me grip the bike is really useful.
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewNice easy fit.
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewNice easy fit and solid construction
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewSounds awesome
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewLooking forward to the better bottom end
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewDefinitely help with gripping the bike and keeping it control without too much fatigue.
ReviewThis tyre has awesome traction in all terrain - mud, rock, loam, etc.
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewGreat quality and easy fitting.
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewNice easy fit. Great quality piece of kit.
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewVery clever and useful piece of kit! I was already used to using the Rekluse LHRB, so using the SLR wasn't that big a change. I was worried that I would not get enough braking with just 1 finger, but it gives plenty of braking power. And really nice to still be able to use the clutch if I want to.
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewGreat protector. Easy to fit too.
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewLove the adjust-ability and bling factor
CategoryLast UpdatedReviewVery nicely machined parts that fit perfectly.
