Works as advertised. If you don't feel it working, you aren't going fast enough. I bought what they call the "reversed position" mount. Did not have to modify the bars at all.

Excellent quality welds and built like a tank. Don't mind the weight. Adding some boat trailer bunk carpeting between the mounts made it absolutely silent.

As with many KX's, one of my rear skid mount bolt holes on my motor is stripped. I just used industrial quality cable ties to hold the rear on. Have about 10 hours on it so far and no issues.
