Exhaust tip had been gutted by previous owner. I fabricated a 1 7/16" exhaust tip.

After running it for a couple of weeks I made a 1 3/16" diameter insert and flared the smaller tip to just fit the larger one and welded it in place. It really improved the lower rpm performance.

Running stock carb with 60/160 jetting.

Smaller exhaust tip. Used washer and welded 19mm pipe to it then welded the assembly into the existing exhaust.  Smooth bottom end. Prior to this I had a 30mm pipe  which was ground out.  The new insert has smoother better low end. Still powerful at mid and high rpm.
