need help with next step for my son

you can add a fly wheel weight to the KX65 to tame the hit down & also make it harder to stall, the power delivery is much smoother on the KTM 65

    KX65 forum?

We have used Amsoil Dominator @ 40:1 on our 08 KX 65 just changed out the piston after a little over a year of racing & riding everything looked good. I know other people run the Amsoil Dominator at 50:1 without trouble. I know the people we got our KX 65 from & it has always had Amsoil Dominator @ 40:1 since new & it is still on the original bottom end.

    KX65 FORK OIL

I ended up going 130mm from the top per the "Team Green" site & it seem to be working pretty well so far with the 7wt oil.

    KX65 FORK OIL

Replacing the fork seals on an 08 KX 65 using 7WT oil for 60+ lbs woods rider, wundering if setting the oil level at 125mm from the top (fork collapsed spring removed) would be the correct level?

    Need Help Selecting Dual Sport

Got to agree wit the post above if you both are on the same bike, there is no way she will be comfortable for anything more than short ride. Teach the wife to ride her own & you will both have more fun.

    Repairing oil check hole?

I am guessing if you dont have a sight glass your Husky is a few years old. take a look at these covers. http://**********.com/prod_scc_husky.php Makes checking the oil level simple. I reall like mine as you can also tell if you oil looking dirty all at a glance. Take a look at the covers on the 7602 Racing website as it will not post links here anymore.

    Infant, toddler helmets?

I belive the weight of the helmet is something to pay close attention too. Little ones necks can not handle a lot of extra weight. I did get a "cheeper" helmet for the first one but once she rode for about a year it was time to upgrade as once they really start riding the woods or an MX track protection becomes even more inportant.

    Is a 2007 TE450 too old?

Old... I still enjoy my 06 & parts are easy to get. I have around 4,500 miles on mine with many more to go!! The close ratio trans. is not good for any extended trips on the road, but if you are just connecting trail as I do it works fine:ride:

    Husqvarna CR50

All bikes are a lot moe $$ in Australia. I have not heard if they will be bringing these little bikes into the states.

    New to me Husky TE510

droping 1 on the c/s sprocket is about the same as adding 3 in the rear. As for the tail light this is what I run http://sicassracing.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=41_43_84&products_id=191 it's holding up well & is much brighter than the stock one, the design fits with the Husky fender very nice, if you look around on this site they also make one just for the Husky I just liked the look of this one better.

    2006 te510 tire size

The mounting tabs may be tweaked. I have had this before with a Maxxis IT in a 120 width. I just bent the tabs out a bit. The Terraflex tires I have seen are a 150 width, those things are huge!!
