    Spitting back through carb.. Help!!!!

Apparently the bladder was bad in the petcock. it works off of vacuum, causing it to run way rich at idle. once the petcock was fixed problem solved.. The fuel was running non stop at idle causing the kick back. it ran fine at speed though. I am just glad it is running like new again...

    Spitting back through carb.. Help!!!!

Believe it or not it was the fuel petcock, letting too much fuel through at idle....

    Petcock leaking

Is there a way to get the petcock from leaking? The gasket/rubber -o-ring seems to be fine but after tightening the bolts down it leaks like crazy.

    Spitting back through carb. Help!!!!!

    No one? Any ideas?
  5. My buddy has a Eiger 400 that is spitting back through the carb at idle and just above idle. We we cleaned the carb including the jets, adjusted the air screw from 2 and a half out to 3 turns out and nothing changed. Could it be the idle jet id clogged again some how? It pushes the carb out of the intake hose after it spits back 4 or 5 times. Any help would be appreciated.. By the way it is also happening on a Yamaha.

Both have the same carbs so any help would be appreciated...

1986 honda trx 70 flywheel nut comes loose

Red Loctite. You will have to heat it to 550 degrees or so to get it off again.

What kind of spark plug for 02 cr250

Yeah you can run that plug. I use a BR8ES for about 10 years in all different makes of 250 and have never had a problem as long as you are jetted right, and you can get them at O'rileys, Auto Zone, or Advanced auto parts for about $2.50. Better than your local stealership. The 9 is just a little bit different heat range, but it will work no problem.

    Honda Steering damper

Now tell me, can you really tell a difference? I have looked at it and thought about it for my 2002 CR 250.

    Coolant in my oil?

I did not know there was an actual leak on the ground. Definitely check your seals. When I had an old 1985 CR 250 I had the same problem with the side cover. Bought a new one and repaired the old with jb weld.
