Remove Airbox Bottom Drain Nipple? TTR 125

The drain nipple on bottom of airbox . My 2012 is sealed nipple which allows only the air filter oil trapping an no draining. It makes more sense to take it off and allow for water drainage as most other dirt bikes have (if water gets in on top I want it out fast). I don't like not having a drain - could slit the nipple or just remove (and maybe get a fraction more air). What are you doing on your TTR?

Wierdest problem with wife's TTR 125: Just a tiny less than 1/4 turn of throttle causes the engine to rev fairly high as the throttle returns back and will stay like this until another blip of throttle to stop it and then idles normal. I checked the throttle - removed off bar, cleaned and lubed bar and wheels. I checked the carb intake/exit clamps and all tight no leaks with starting fluid check while running. I checked the slide up and down visually and looks ok and always returns ok down. No binding I can see. I checked the tension of throttle pull and recoil all ok and not too loose or tight. I cleaned the jets and bowl - bike is basically new 2012. Bought new. The only action left is maybe replace the fuel screw to a hand adjustable screw as stated above to see what in pilot system is causing this. What in pilot system could cause this?????? Cant get rid of it!!!

Thanks! Got the brass cap off and adjusted 2.5 turns out - seems ok. But - i want to optimize at idle. Anyone know of an aftermarket "finger adjust" fuel screw? This location next to engine is almost impossible to adjust with a tiny screwdriver without burning your hand. If anyone knows aftermarket part please insert website.

GoPro 960 Standby - Battery Life?

Had about a 5 hr ride on saturday, turned on and off for about 3 hrs. Last 2hrs left it on standby and it still had 2 bars left on battery with about 20 - 4 min vid clips total so pretty decent life on standby as I can see. Will see again this weekend when leave it on longer standby. I just hate turning on and off blindly and actually missed some cool sections because of.
  14. Just opened my new 960....anyone have experience with leaving unit on during the rides in standby, shuttering up when needed? About how much does the standby mode eat up the battery? I hate to have to turn the unit on and off blindly but if it majorly affects battery life then will have to reconsider... Suppose to have 2- 2.5hr battery life but this is listed I assume as video-on life.

    2002 Vs. 2006 WR250 Trans Ratios

    Is it actually true the 2002 WR250 tranny ratios are different from the 2006 WR250's? Comparing mine to my bro's below, per the manuals, looks like the 2006 getting the old 2002 CR trans. I thought we had the same. However, based on feel, I'm almost sure Husky screwed up and put in the CR close ratio tranny in my 2002 WR. Can/Did this happen? Since bought my bike used any way to tell with a number on the case? The WR ratio would have been much better for higher speed trails. 2002: TRANSMISSION Constant mesh gear type Ratios: 1st (WR, CR 250) ..................2,142 (Z 30/14) 1st (WR 360)..........................2,545 (Z 28/11) 2nd (WR 250) ........................1,588 (Z 27/17) 2nd (CR 250) .........................1,750 (Z 28/16) 2nd (WR 360) ........................2,071 (Z 29/14) 3rd (WR 250) .........................1,263 (Z 24/19) 3rd (CR 250) ..........................1,437 (Z 23/16) 3rd (WR 360) .........................1,687 (Z 27/16) 4th (WR 250) .........................1,047 (Z 22/21) 4th (CR 250) ..........................1,210 (Z 23/19) 4th (WR 360) .........................1,388 (Z 25/18) 5th (WR 250) .........................0,833 (Z 20/24) 5th (CR 250) ..........................1,053 (Z 20/19) 5th (WR 360) .........................1,150 (Z 23/20) 6th (WR 360) .........................0,950 (Z 19/20) 2006: TRANSMISSION Constant mesh gear type Ratios: 1st ..........................................2,142 (Z 30/14) 2nd ........................................1,750 (Z 28/16) 3rd .........................................1,437 (Z 23/16) 4th .........................................1,210 (Z 23/19) 5th .........................................1,053 (Z 20/19)
