They have a much better airbox than the husky. Still benefits from a bit more flow. I just dynoed a 18 fe. Map was much closer than the husky. The stock headpipe worked better than the fmf megabomb. We tried sx4 and t4 gas. Made 58.27 with stock head pipe ,fmf muffler and sx4. T4 was .2 less

It depends. Some of them are just tack welded to the core. Others are welded in pretty good. Either way you can just grind the welds and knock it right out.

No, just the husky. The ktm has a screen in the muffler. I've noticed no change on the dyno with the screen out

    Yes So does the 350

    Fc450 rockstar dyno

I didn't get a pic of the last one but I put 4 1" holes in the left side panel rear of the filter. 1hp on the dyno with the holes. Not as big an improvement as the standard fc450. Once the rockstar is uncorked it really needs a remap. Fuel is pretty lean on map 2

    Fc450 rockstar dyno

Just got one of these in yesterday for some dyno love. Thought you guys might like to see it. Base run is bone stock map2. End run is tuned in with spark arrestor removed and airbox ventilated

Dynoed not dumped, and dynoes not dunes. Dan spell check

ECU has more impact than the pipe. I dumped a yoshi slip on which didn't do anything . Not sure how it felt on the track but on the dyno not much I. Stock motor with vortex on my dyno is about 37.5hp. Different dunes measure different. To get to 40 on mine you need porting, compression, intake cam, mapping and pipe.

Unfortunately it does. After turning it's still 2 hp off a new yz

    Rmz250 dyno

It compensates a bit but not much. It's not like a car, which is why it ran good in warm weather

    Rmz250 dyno

Yes 13 parts sir. The other way wouldn't run Haha. It sounds like it's in the ball park. I run it a bit leaner at low rpms .

You can get very close but you can't know how an engine responds to the afr you give it without a dyno. Some bikes like a richer afr than others and when you change things you start over. They don't self adjust much so when the temp or altitude changes so will the afr. The closer it is to spot on the more it's affected by temp and altitude it seems. The 250 seems to make best power very close to 13:1 afr where the 450 likes slightly richer settings
