I would go with the 13/50 or 13/49...Im in 4th and 5th almost all the time at a supercross track in my area and its fine,but when i get outdoors i run outa gear fast...plus the RMZ likes bein in the low end more...The problem with running a 12/47 or a 12 up front all together is that there arent as many teeth making contact with the chain...not so good witht he torque of a 4 stroker...bends teeth MUCH quicker...
  3. I ve had mine since May..No real issues..Hard to find neutral...and yes pops out if ur lazy..but nothin broken and engine is great,handlings great..ergos are perfect..I think it looks pretty sharp too

I have had my 07 for 2 months now and the first two rides i hit false neutrals twice...but...i was tired and riding sloppy...about 10 hrs later ihavent missed a shift...the bike rides and shifts great....as far as finding neutral..to me that is just somthing that i honestly think just takes time gettin used to...its definitley a very light click up or down...different than any other bike i have had.but when i want to find it i can now....i think its a sacrifice for such a smooth shifting gear box cuz it shifts like no other bike i have ever had...love it!!
  6. Actually, i went to Keene Motorsports in NH...No sales tax...was worth the drive....to save a few hund...Took her out to the track for the first time on Wed....I love it...sick low end power..sus is still breaking in but over all very happy....

I just came off a 2003 KTM 200sx and am now inthe market for a 250 fourstroke...I had an RM125 and love the handling..power was ok..and reliability was good...KTM handled ok ..great power..good reliablility...I think if i hadnt read so much about this gear issue they seem to be having i would already own the RMZ...IS everybody experienciung this..is anyone have an RMZ without this problem....I would bedoing mx in the 30 plus class...intermideate rider...It sounds like the power between the two is give or take..RMZ has more bottom to mid..KTM has alot of top end...ANy help would be good as i am going crazy to find whichone i want...thanks
