  1. what does it mean when you have to hold your twist your throttle open just a very little bit to get your bike to start? its on a 07 crf250x. when you go to electric start it you have to hold open the throttle just a bit then it fires right up. what should i change?
  2. Thank you, it all makes sense now. I just knew that it didnt need to be drilled.
  3. do you loose any bottom end or mid range, or just gain more top end. any loss or torque or anything like that. Also would love to hear the people have done it without having to reshim(valves currently in spec).
  4. I have ordered the extended fuel screw so when i get my jets that i ordered i can tune it easyer but now how do i get that plug/D shaped screw head, or what ever it is out. do i drill it or does it take a special tool or just try to pry it out? been doing alot of searching but never found any info more then someone drilling one on a differnt make and model bike. it just seems like it would need a tool and be screwed out and not to be drilled.
  5. My friend has a stock cam out of his 06 crf250r and i was wondering if it would be a perfect swap into my bike a 07 crf250x. will it work in my head, and would have i have change any valve specs or re-shim my clearances? also would there be much differnce at all in power?
  6. when ever you get it dailed in will you post what you finally got it set it please?
  7. i copy and pasted that info and when i did it put smilies and changed some stuff but no i dont i have a YZ.
  8. so you are telling me go from a 130 main (stock) to a around a 160?
  9. ok i have bought a jet kit for my rhino and for my yz250f and i have lots of jets left over. now im trying to jet my crf250x but i think i need the base of the main jet that only comes with the kits. how can i get one of those?

  12. just redid my bearings in my 03 yz250f last week. all the bearings were shot. had to take the linkage to get pressed out. It was a mess. using penetrating oil and letting it soak and using a bushing buddy or bearing press would help alot.
  13. I cant find the jet kit for a 07 cr 125. is it the same kit as the cr250r(JDH005)?
  14. well im looking for a good base to start with not the perfect jetting from someone else.
  15. that is exactly what i was looking for thanks
