Fishin' offshore SD and Baja - Biking's a close second!
  1. Yo' Eric, Haven't seen you at CC yet this season. Where ya' been? Shoot me a PM. BTW, sorry about hi-jacking yer' post diverb32
  2. Any word? Thanks...
  3. Where you thinking about going? I'm doing some work on the bike tonight - trying to get out tomorrow.
  4. Corral Canyon or Lark Canyon/McLain Valley open as of 11/12/07 - anyone? Really gotta' ride!!! Ron
  5. Lark Canyon/McCain Valley are open for riding as of 11/8?
  6. Thanks for the invite Walt and Larry - that was an one outstanding ride!!! Gotta' say, you guys sure taught me a valuable lesson about being prepared and having the right tools, spare parts, etc. One minute were talking about breaking down and the next, I end up with a flat - with ZERO tools on my bike and no spare tube. If it wasn't for Larry and you, I would have been hating life! Anytime you need a mid-week guy, give me a shout. BTW, the tow company guy finally got to my truck 2 1/2 hours after you guys left - and lucky for me, the keys were under the seat. So the trip ended on a good note. Thanks again, Ron
  7. I'm feeling all warm and fuzzy right now (maybe it's the Captain Morgan). Seriously though, thanks Richard and everyone involved for all the hard work! I, for one, totally appreciate it! BTW, riding this Weds. at CC - anyone else?
  8. I don't know if my ribs can take it
  9. Haven't had the bike long, it's a 2006 CRF250x with hardly any time on it, and noticed that the front brake seems to grab and almost lock up with very little pressure on the lever. When braking into a downhill corner, the front brakes want to grab (lock-up like) and practically throw me off the bike suddenly. Any way to solve this problem and make them a little smoother and more predictable? I've already changed the almost new OEM pads to aftermarket ones-anything else?

  11. Yo, Yo, Yo, Thinkin' about 10:00 or so - same place/same time. You in Bryan???
  12. Ribs are feeling better-gotta' ride! Thinking about this friday... Anyone else - Rory, Lucian, Dennis??? oops-Bryan;)
  13. Good job Rory and the rest of the gang. You can count me in on the next one!
  14. I'd go, but I took a good shot to the ribs riding at CC weds - my latest flight over the handlebars have got me in the house of pain-serious
