    What year is my RM250

Do your fork guards use guides or not? Does it have the stock seat if so what colors?

    2006 Rm250 no spark

What the spark plug plugs into. They can be pulled off and replaced. Make sure it's tight. Check that first

Are you sure the spark plug boot didn't come undone?

RM250 front brake not biting hard enough?

Went with galpher ss brake line and galpher skw rotor.

Try a happier ss brake line and an over sized rotor. I went with the help her skw and neutron pads. The brakes work. Took a few ride to get used to having brakes that actually work.

    Fmf exhausts

I like the fmf fatty with the fmf shorty. If you need a spark arrestor the turbine core exhausts work good. I haven't tried the q stealth but have the q, it's really long but does a good job of keeping the noise down without killing the power to much. the gnarly pipe revs slower than the fatty which makes it harder to get on top of the bumps. Doesn't gel with my style as much as the fatty. However, You do get used to either pipe. The fatty is good everywhere. You don't have to clutch the gnarly to get into the power, you can roll it on. The gnarly is quieter too because it uses thicker metal. You can go fast with either pipe.

Jetting with maxima synthetic k2 vs castor 927

Swapped out my pipe for one with fresh packing and a clean perforated core and it cleaned up the sputter alot. There is still a slight sputter so I think your right with the half step leaner needle.

Vforce 3 reeds, fmf fatty pipe, shorty most of the time. Sea level 50-60 degrees most of the time.

Jetting with maxima synthetic k2 vs castor 927

Haven't had any performance problems with 927, Other than carbon build up in the pipe and silencer. Piston looked great last change though. Tried out the k2 this piston to see if it would help reduce the carbon build up. It's possible the carbon deposits are due to the needle being a tad rich. maybe as harrperf wrote the k2 makes the slightly rich needle position more noticeable at the throttle.

I'm thinking about just running it with the needle in the second clip as that cleans it up but the bike ran great with 927 with the needle in the third clip.
  13. I recently switched premix oils from Maxima 927 to full synthetic Maxima k2 and am now getting some sputtering with the same jetting. If I lean the needle clip one position it clears it up. Is this usual? Don't want to lean it too much

Haven't gone back to 927 as I still have premixed gas to burn.
