Your Best Husky Pic From 07!!!

This pic is actually taken as I am putting my foot back on my peg. Funny it does look like I am hitting the rear brake.

    ATTN! Excel's name change/buy out.

Same expierience with OTDcycles in Los Angeles. Went to their web site, they emailed me their OTD price, I called to confirm they had the three bikes in stock. My son and I went down to pick them up and their the bikes were waiting with my name on them!! All I did was call, give my first name and confirmed the price. I kept asking them to verify the prices, and they did .(had other dealers change the price on me from salesman negotiations to finance)so I was a little skeptical. When I went to finance all the prices were right and I signed and paid!! I will always buy from OTD cycles. The best expierience I have ever had purchasing a bike. :applause:

    Injury Survey

Torn ACL in left knee 10 years ago due to hyperextension. Had my left foot out in a turn lost the front end and hooked my leg on handlebar just above the knee. Doctor said no surgery needed just 3 months rehab. He was an idiot. knee never felt right again. I bought CTI's after that and have been riding for ten years with a bum knee and great confidence because I am able to ride at speed without worrying about my knee. I have had several crashes with blows to my knee and braces did their job. Recently bought asterisk and have the same confidence. Anyways this year finally had my knee looked at by a real doctor and an MRI which revealed as suspected a destroyed ACL, torn meniscus and torn MCL. Surgery including Graph for the ACL and repair to the meniscus three months later and almost ready to moto again!! Knee is getting stronger ever day and I can feel that it is better. Doc said we will see how the MCL looks after all is healed. I just wish I had braces on before my injury. I say this because what I have gone through with my knee really sucked! and it would have been a small price to pay. On another injury I went over the bars and landed on my head. The weight from my body and the bike on top of me broke my back. Compression fractures to T-5 T-6, and T-7. I was wearing a Bell moto six.The foam in the helmet was 50% compressed. The impact broke blood vessels in my eyes and I had bruises on both my colarbones where the helmet impacted. Basically I was very lucky since the helmet stayed centered when it hit my collarbones not allowing my neck to snap in either direction. So instead my back broke. Much better than a broken neck. They say the higher up on your spine the greater your chance of paralysis. I thank God every day that I broke my back and not my neck just because I know the outcome of my injury could have been worse. I have the helmet up in my house to remind me (and my three boys) how important safety equiptment is and to always wear it. NO ACCEPTIONS!! Well needless to say I am going to be dropping around $1200.00 on 3 Leatt braces. Wow did I say 1200? A small price to pay to take one more step on keeping my boys safe while they are riding. I no I have read all the mixed reactions on the brace, but I have came to my own conclusion that this looks like the most functional neck brace I have seen available to the MX community. I am sure there will be different and cheaper versions, but my boys are getting faster by the day, and I am not willing to let them continue to ride without one just to save a few bucks. I know it can not guarantee to prevent a neck injury, but it definately looks like it will. Hell I have had several cocusions and severly damaged helmets, and I cant help but wonder, what would happen to my head if I wasn't wearing a helmet?
