  1. 2007 kx 125, thrown the stock 36mm mikuni out for a 38mm keihin, now compleatly confused as to where to start with jetting, any ideas? Just need a starting point the we can go from there, i think the mikuni had 440 and 35, then the needle will be the next drama i take it..

    17 rmz 250, so i put a multi meter onto the system as supposed to, reading creaps up to 0.4 and slowly creaps down back to 0, i asume this is dead?

    Not sure how a suspension set up makes ur make increase hp, may make the rider go faster but def not the engine

    Piston broke in yz250. How?

    Would be the skirt for sure? Piston to bore clearance too much, ie piston and or bore worn too much, quite common gotta keep ontop of pistons on these and always measure the bore ans fit the right size piston, the inlet skirts dont have aloy of meat so with piston rattle they will break easily

    Hot rods stroker crank for 2014/2015 yz250f

    did u end up doing this? I would be worried the extra 3mm going downwards would put the piston skirt out of the cylinder as the BB piston has already 5mm more skirt than standard, I want to do this myself but yes worried about the above

Question, currently have athena 276cc big bore kit in 2016 yz250f with a load of other mods none the less, im due for a bottom end soon, i wanna put the hot rods stroker crank kit in boost it up to 291cc but what ive noticed is the big bore piston kit skirts are about 5mn longer than the stock piston, id be worried with the extra 3mm ontop of that the skirt or the piston may go dowb past the cylinder bottom and cause issues, any one had expearance with this? Not sure how the cylinder bb works set up is but i asume simular?

    New rmz big bore 270 or 290?

    The yami is a 2016 276f and i have player with 2017 intake boots etc etc, the head is match ported, custom machined cam shafts, vortex, hinson all yhe external stuff, i also have a 2017 yami 269f its stock except pipe bigbore and port job it makes 47hp same as the other engine did as 250cc ad for dropping down top play with the gearing but i dont notice much loss on top if any, i asume a bog stock enginw with a big bore qould be much different, my mate has a 45hp 17 250f and if i ride it back to back yes his pulls a tad more on top but to compare drop 1 - 2 teeth on rear sprock it makes it feel much simular

    I have only dyno sheet from as it was a 250cc at 47hp, i asumed adding the 276 kit to this set up got me at least an extra 3hp, but i shall find this sheet and upload, the bike is a long way from just a big bore kit bolted on, but regardless this is not the what im asking..

    Hey gurus, ive built plenty of 270cc big bore engines etc but not suzuki, currently have a yzf 276cc that produces 50hp, anyways im coming into vets and have an oppurtunity to get on a rmz, wondering what is best 270cc or 290cc kit, will be a 2018 bike, will have a set of pc cam shafts, ported head, vortex ecu, yoshi pipe, hinson etc etc i just was unaware if the 290 will be too much and loose a heap of top end, i feel the 276 on the yami is fine, it will be raced in mx against 450s so def chasing good numbers
