  3. Vortec, I am very sorry for your loss. Things like this are never easily understood. I so feel for his family. In the event that I may be of assistance to his Family, please let me know. I am in their shoes just further down the road to "Living with a horrific loss." May Bryce Petrunia "Rest in Eternal Peace" and roost the heavenly realms! Sincerely, Mike Berg "Motodad393"

    Pursuing promises to my brother

Hello Wade, For some reason I just saw this post about your brother, Jake. I hope you are doing as well as expected after such a loss. I lost my son when he was 17 and I know how if impacted me. It was brutal as you well know. Why don’t you contact me and give me an update on how you are doing? Are you making a difference in the MX community in Arizona? Sometimes changes come with difficulties. I hope your parents are doing as well as can be expected. It is hard to find a way to move on with only half of your heart in contact. Contact me via PM or email me Motodad393@gmail.com and I would be happy to talk, perhaps assist your efforts. I am sorry for your loss and I know how it feels. I once heard a man named Neil Peart, the drummer for RUSH say in his book “Ghost Rider” say, “Dedicated to the future with honor to the past.” You may want to think about this and read the book. It is an excellent book for those of us who ride and lose someone we are connected to. Hang in there young man. I look forward to hearing from you. Gary Camacho Guam rider

Al - so sorry for your loss. That was a great pic you posted. Hang in there and thanks for all you do for those who ride.
  7. I hate to see a fellow rider leave early, for any reason. That was a fine tribute given to Mr. Overby. Clearly he made a difference in the live of those he touched. He is yet another person who is likely to ride and roost in the heavenly realm. May Mr. Kirk Gordon Overby Rest in Eternal Peace. MD393
  8. I am sorry for your loss guys. I remember seeing him in the forums. I hope his family is doing as well as expected. This time of year is especially bad to lose someone. I hope Drew rests in Eternal Peace.

    Sad story..

So sad, yet an incredible tribute to Austin Mincey. That really was a fantastic way to lay their friend to rest. It actually blew me away. It is my hope that the Mincey family will find the strength they need as them move down h path no parent should ever have to take. Rest in Eternal Peace Austin! Sincerely, Mike Berg "Motodad393"
  11. Broken Heart - That was a great tribute to your son Jack. May he Rest in Eternal Peace. It is sad that someone destroys a memorial put up. I will never understand that action. I also agree Karma will go around. Try and cherish the memories, for a loss like ours never goes away, but we do learn to live with the pain. At some point in time the pain will not control you. It takes time and the amount of time varies, for grief has no rules or constraints. I lost my Son of September 22, 2002. It has been about 11.5 years (615 weeks and 1 day to be accurate). If I may ever be of assistance to you, please feel free to contact me via PM here on TT. Mike Berg "Motodad393"

    fallen angels

kingw44 - I am sorry to hear the news and I always hate when a rider passes. Generally, this type of thing should be common sense and tracks normally control the classes. Please let me know if I may be assistance to the family. Sincerely, Mike Berg "Motodad393"
  14. KauThumper - Hang in there. I know those words seem hollow, the pain will never leave HOWEVER you will learn how to live with the pain of losing half a heart as time moves on. For me it has been over 11 years, [580 weeks and 5 days] to be more precise. This year, the 11th anniversary of his death was easier for me and that was a first! I was relieved that I was not drained emotionally. Oh I remembered - but it was much easier. It may and was for me a long time coming. If I may ever be of assistance to you, or your family do not hesitate to contact me via PM. Leave me a phone number and I will call you immediately. Sincerely - Mike Berg "Motodad393" Father of Garrett M. Berg - "Motoman393"

BigBlueKnight - I am sorry for your loss. You did him justice by your tribute. We all make mistakes and are not perfect, but yet somehow the passion to ride comes through. Remember the Good Times, for that will bring you smiles when you need it. MD393
