  1. They didn't sell many of these conversions because they were $$$$. I remember Dag Boyesen riding one in district 6. It didn't look like it was much faster than the other bikes in the 250 expert class.

    2001 kx100 for $1,200

The 2001 has some extra value in CA, because it's the only green sticker year. Not sure about $1200 though.

    KX 100 rebuild

    KX 100 rebuild

Hello, I'm new on the Kawasaki side and was looking for some opinions. I found an 01 kx100 for $150. It's rough, left outside for years, non running engine. The chrome failed in the cylinder and they parked it. When I got it home, I noticed that it was still on the original tires, although they were completely worn out. So it's a fairly low hour bike, I'd say 70-80 hours but ridden hard. I am going to do the bottom end, although it spins smoothly I'm worried about the crank seals. Here is my question, should I do the big end bearing while I'm in there, or just do the mains and seals? Any other words of wisdom from the kx85/100 experts out there? The bike will be ridden by a 13 yr old Novice.

  7. Sorry, I haven't been on here for a while. The pipe was a dg ATAC eliminator pipe, made for the 85 250. You weld on a nice flange that comes with the kit, so you can use whatever pipe you like.

    1982 xr 100 suspension

Thanks, I may give that a shot. Aftermarket shocks would cost more than I have in the bike.

    1982 xr 100 suspension

I am looking for ideas on rear shocks for my son's 82 xr 100. I am pretty sure the shocks are the same as twin shock xr80's. I would like to find something from an existing bike like the xr 80 or early cr 80. FYI, they are 13 inches or 330mm long. I'm just looking for something that has dampening for a safer ride:) Any ideas?
  10. 90 is a better bike. Plus no worries about the magnesium water pump. Good luck!
  11. And none of us want to hear about a stuck throttle on a cr 500!
  12. Sudco has the whole CR type throttle and Motion Pro cable. Best quality parts and good price.

    Rb designs carb mod

I had it done on an 06 yz 250. Not to burst anyone's bubble, but it didn't make a hell of a lot of difference. Nice workmanship and service from RB though.

    Police investigate me =(

With that attitude I would have thrown the book at you. At least take your helmet off and address the LEO like a human being. And wait untill he is at least out of the car before repeating "what did I do?" over and over. Guys like you make us all look like tools.
