Thanks for posting up your experiences with these, I think my BRP mount + Renthal Pillowtops work well enough.

Anyone have input on how this compares with the BRP sub-mount? I have one of those on my 300 and it's good for the scotts mount and bar rise, but I'll be damned if I can tell any difference in how it soaks up hits.

What did you do to your Beta today ?

Acerbis X-Grip, they do look pretty sharp!

What did you do to your Beta today ?

Shipped off the 300RR suspension to Beta USA for a factory revalve. Fitted some new frame guards, TMD skid plate, brake pedal, and going to try out some Steg Pegz for the first time. Not seen is a new polisport white plastics kit, and a euro racing gfx kit that's on backorder. Call it a mid life refresh, cheaper than a new bike

Just picked it up yesterday, BYOB 2019 390RR-S!
  9. Hi all, Proverbial which bike question here. I'm coming off a 2013 350EXC which is a great, great bike, but I'm looking for something new....you know how it goes Primarily ride single track in NorCal at places like Hollister, Cow Mtn, Metcalf, etc, and also some dual sport rides in the Sierras. I'm not the most aggressive rider, pretty lazy in fact. I've always been extremely happy with the 350, and have been glad I got it instead of a 500. The newer bikes sure look shiny though, and I'm looking to try something different. I also have a '15 Beta 300RR thats a fun trail bike, but I ride it like a lazy person and rarely get up into the big power there. Would like to get a bike with a bit more bottom end/mid range, for easier 2nd gear wheelies. The 450EXC looks amazing, as does the 430RR. Any other older-generation 350 riders that have stepped up to the newer 400-class bikes? Any anecdotes or advice greatly appreciated! -R

Absolutely! I think this is the 6th bike I've bought from them. I can't recommend them highly enough. Now I just need to take a couple weeks off work to properly break in this 300.

Just picked up a 2015 300RR the other week from Moore & Sons in Santa Cruz, only put a couple hours on it so far, can't wait to ride it more!
  12. Damn that really sucks about the noise. Yes, my bike stalls. I'm having the Akrapovic map uploaded tomorrow and will report back after thats done...
  13. While youre there, can you ask them about a quiet insert for the Apex can? It'd be appreciated!!!
  14. I'm going to have the dealer upload the Akrapovic map, and I might drill some holes in the airbox lid as well. Should rip I probably wont get a powerbomb header just to lose 1-2 dB. I'll probably have to pop the end cap off, and then weld in a generic insert like FMF sells for the powercore 4 pipes. That, or a db dawg possibly. I'll try to post up in this thread when I get something going. As it is now, my neighbors are gonna kill me this thing is so loud (I live in a city, it BOOMS off the buildings).
  15. Hey there, I installed the same slip-on on my 690SMC last weekend, had the same stalling issues. I am 99.9% sure a remap (which I have scheduled) will fix the issue. The sound is TOO MUCH tho I'm also going to try and fab in some sort of quiet core insert. Any ideas on that?
