  1. Hey Joe, when are scheduled to come back?
  2. Right off the bat I got 5 emails. I had no idea this bike was in such high demand. The wife is telling me that I'm going to regret it and not to sell it. Sorry for the tease guys but I'm going to hang on to her. Hopefully I'll be able to get out more often. 450 and the 100 are still available
  3. I'm jealous of all you guys that can ride that often. Priorities, priorities, they suck some times
  4. if anyone is interested '06 450xc supermoto with dirt wheels http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sgv/mcy/4401331716.html '09 300xcw http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sgv/mcy/4401368208.html '03 XR100 http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sgv/mcy/4401343120.html
  5. The only ride I did the the last 6 months was LAB2V and even before that I was lucky if i got out more than once a month. My 300 is an '09 and it's only got 70 hours on it. It's killing me seeing the bikes looking at me every time I walk into the garage. I love riding but just don't have the time so I'm thinking of maybe hanging it up for a little while until things settle down.
  6. talk about people not riding anymore........I've been kicking around the idea of selling my bike also.
  7. Roger, Sorry to hear about your get off. I was up at Rowher a couple of weeks ago by myself and went on the trail where you helped me recover my bike last time when I dumped it off the trail. I was second guessing myself the whole time wondering what i was doing there by myself. Get well quick
  8. Gonna have to work tomorrow. So it's a no go. Sorry Bill
  9. I think I may have Friday off...I'll know for sure tomorrow.
  10. I use my A8 all year, including 90* weather in the summer. It's feels no different form a regular chest protector. That Leatt one looks nice also. I bought a Mot X Vest also but don't wear it anymore, it was way too hot for me. If anyone wants to buy my used one let me know............worn twice
  11. After breaking a couple of ribs myself, I use this. Alpinestar A8. I love it http://motocross.transworld.net/1000124603/news/house-call-alpinestars-a8-chest-protector/

    LA/Barstow/Vegas anyone?

The ride was epic. You couldn't ask for better conditions. I went over the bars flying down a wash and hitting a rock. Sore left shoulder, broken visor, sprained thumb, some nice rash on the forearm but a huge smile on my face. No dust until maybe the last 100 miles. We got shut out of Red Rock because they shut it down early. More inspiration to go again next year. You guys who were on the fence and didn't commit missed out. There was a ton of sand.............deep sand. Nothing a little speed wouldn't take care of. There were some fun rocky sections on the hard ways. Afton Canyon water crossing was pretty deep, depending which side you took. The longest gas stop was around 85 miles but factor in the sand and you would use more gas than anticipated. I saw a couple of 2 strokes that probably didn't make it without getting more gas from others.
