KX 65 rearbrake pedal bolt and threads

Thanks for the response. It doesn't go in with out the pedal. the threads on the bolt seem fine. I can see threads in the hole so I think I'm going to try to re-tap it first. if that doesn't work I'll have to try the helicoil.

KX 65 rearbrake pedal bolt and threads

    Thanks, but i tried that.
  4. Just installed a rekluse clutch on my sons 2012 kx 65. When putting on the rear brake pedal I can't seem to get the bolt to thread into the threads on the frame. Can anyone tell me what the best way to go about fixing this is? And the the thread specification so I can re-tap it if I need to? Thanks in advance.

    2003 CR85 Drain Bolt

Can someone tell me what size and thread pitch the drain bolt is on a 2003 CR85? I overtightened the bolt, cracked the crankcase and stripped the threads. Thanks,

    Fork Tube is stuck!

they're factory connection seals I bought last year and sat in the garage. Is it possible they dried out? The tubes of some scratches but not anything deep or sharp. Is there a way to "buff" some of the scratches out?

    Fork Tube is stuck!

The heat worked. It popped right out. I am taking them apart because i thought i put the seals in upsided down. I found out that they are not upside down and I put them in correctly. I put the seals in and they started to leak before I even rode it. is it possible both seals were bad before I put them in?

    Fork Tube is stuck!

Thanks for the responses. I did pull the dust seal down and removed the ring clip. It will not move at all. I'm a little concerned about using heat. Should I just put a brimstick in the inner fork tube and bang it out?

    '05 yz 250f rebuild

Thanks for the quick responses! Do I have to reposition them off a little bit so they end up at the right place? Do I have to do this with the tension on the chain? Can you tell me what the best steps would be?

    '05 yz 250f rebuild

I just put a new piston and rings in my '05 yz 250f. I lined up the cams and had the right amount of pins between them @ TDC. When I put the chain tensioner in it through of the timing. When the cams are lined up with the cylinder the TDC mark is off about 5 degrees. is this OK? Is their a way to adjust this with out removing and repositioning the cams? Does the timing chain need to be replaced? Any help would be appreciated.
