luggage rack whats the best one drz400sm

I got this one on amazon, very solid and not a bad price, took some creativity to get my bag attached, bit it really works great. Can haul a 9 pack of Miller lite 16ozs, plus two 24ozs budweiser Cheledas!

What did you do to your DRZ400 today?

After a test ride today with the 19" front wheel on the SM, my stock speedo is dead on now instead of 5mph fast. Went down some dirt roads and on hiway felt good so far. Win win deal.

Are DRZ's also expensive in your area?

When I bought my 05 DRZ400sm 4 years ago it was in decent shape needed tires, chain and sprockets and some normal maintenance I had to pay $3000, was more than I thought it should have been worth but they were hard to find in kansas, had to drive to Oklahoma to get it. Still cheaper than a new one. It also had 8900 miles on it.

What did you do to your DRZ400 today?

Kreator, I went with a 2.5" width rim the tire is a 120/70R-19.

What did you do to your DRZ400 today?

Wow good job at catching that HeavyRotation, the Honda routing method, I hadn't even thought of that. That is how my CRF450 was.

What did you do to your DRZ400 today?

Yes tire choices get better with the 19" front rim, the rear is a little wider than I wanted (4.5" rim) for the tire I put on it. I have actually thought now about putting the 17" front rim on the rear hub, but that will be a later project, Thanks. Cost was $300 total, shipping, spokes, rim and assembly, for the rim installed on my oem hub. Dubya is a great company to work with.

What did you do to your DRZ400 today?

Got my front 19" wheel back from Dubya USA wheels, mounted up the Michelin Anakee Wild tires! Man looks good! I like it!
