Helmet Cams - Which is best?

One note on the LANC port - last years Canon ZR line does offer one (ZR40,45,50) but the new 03 models do not. I just picked up a refurbed ZR40 vs. the newer model for just that reason.

    CRD Absolute Performance.

Thanks Sower! That's what I was looking for.....looks pretty sweet. What did just the silencer cost, w/o the head pipe?

    CRD Absolute Performance.

Where did you guys, in the U.S., get this pipe? Do the Absolute Power exhaust stick out above the rear fender? Any pics??? Thanks.
  4. TTR is definitely the best off road vid out. I am waiting for TTR2 on DVD, should be available in July, it will have some extra footage that the VHS one doesn't have.

    Broken spoke nippple questions

Thanks for all the input, just checked with my dealer, they split up a set to sell individually.
  6. Got a good size branch stuck in the front wheel on this weekend's ride - the result - I keep finding new bruises all morning, and a broken spoke nipple. Couple questions: 1)Where can I get (1) spoke nipple and spoke? 2)Is it harmful to ride the bike temporarily without the spoke? 3)I am assuming the nipple gets inserted into the rim from the inside of the rim, I was wondering if this can be done without removing the tire? Thanks -Brett

  10. I know there is a notheast riders/places forum, but I don't think anyone visits it, so I am going to post here - any connecticut area riders that want to meet up and ride sometime, let me know. My friends and I usually ride woods and sandpits and are always looking for new places to ride. Drop me an email or PM. -Brett

    Best bike carrier/hauler ??

I traded my Tacoma in for a 4Runner in the fall, so I needed something to haul my bike. After doing some research I just ordered the motojack rack. It's one of the more expensive racks, but it seems like a pretty good setup. check out their site, they have some links at the bottom to various dirtbike mag reviews of their rack and other racks.... http://www.motojackrack.com/ Mine should arrive in a week or so, I will let you know how it goes. -Brett
  14. Yes, it will be interesting to see a comparison of the two.
  15. I was just looking through the White Brothers catalog online and noticed that the E2 exhaust it out - anyone had a chance to try it (if its actually out)? It's priced at 329$ - below is the excerpt from their catalog. -Brett White Brothers created the new E2 to be used at the track and/or in the forest - New “Square Ellipse” shape allows for more packing, extending the life of the exhaust. This free flowing system dissipates heat faster and offers increased performance over stock at a lower db rating - Light weight aluminum can is constructed of a one piece, aircraft grade alloy canister with integrated end cap and is hard coated for strength and durability. Assembled using the highest quality components: perforated core, stainless steel inlet and mid-pipe, billet aluminum mounting brackets and high quality silencer packing - End cap features modular inserts which allow fine tuning for different riding conditions, the modular inserts allow the system to change from competition to spark arrestor in seconds. Each system comes with the standard insert and a removable approved spark arrestor insert - Available in a U.S. version, which meets U.S.F.S. specifications and AMA regulations for 2003 (96db) and a European version, featuring a longer canister that also meets FIM sound regulations for 2003 (94db, european version will work in the U.S., but will cause a small horse power loss)
