  1. I'm thinking about picking up a 2015.5 250SXF FE for woods duty. It would likely just get a Rekluse and guards. Any thoughts? I've never owned a KTM 250F, so not sure what to expect.

Sweet bike!! Yeah, I'm missing the rear brake foot pedal. I run a Left Hand Rear Brake.

Both are unknown brand Ebay specials. The wheels are holding up well, but aren't exactly light weight. The pegs are for 2002-up. They fit, but the engagement with the frame isn't all that good. I need to rig something to help with that. If I were doing motocross or huge jumps I would be more concerned, but for trail riding I'm sure it's fine.
  4. Just fyi, I used a 1999 one on my 2000, no fitment issues.

    2000 cr250 won't start

I've been riding all my bikes this way for the last 10 years. No problem hopping over logs and rocks, just have to be in the right gear. It is different though, it took me a while to adjust to it.

My motor was built by Eric Gorr top to bottom as a 265. He used a Hot Rods crank kit. He also did some tranny polishing and case porting along with the cylinder porting and head mods. Runs awesome. Forks are later model CRF, revalved front and rear by Enzo. Hinson clutch basket with Rekluse auto clutch, V Force 3 reed valve, Fatty pipe and PC2 silencer, all bearing replaced on mine also including swing arm and linkage. Oversized front brakes with SS line, Left hand rear brake. Bike is set up to be a woods rocket.

    Ha, great minds think alike:
  8. Trying to figure out for a friend if a spare cylinder I have will work on his bike. The Honda part # is slightly different, so there's obviously something that's been changed, I'm just not sure what.

Thanks guys. I put a ton of time and $$ in it. I replaced almost every single bolt, plastic piece, bearing, etc with Honda OEM stuff. There was literally furniture hardware holding this bike together when I got it.

I've got a V Force Reed valve for $50 plus shipping if anyone is interested. Came off of my 2000 CR250.

If you're near DFW Enzo is great with Showa suspension.

Honda CR250 oversize brake rotor kit confusion. HELP!

What kind of pads are you guys using? Are you sure the system is bled properly? There's got to be a reason your front brakes are weak. Try zip tying your brake lever to the bars overnight before you ride, it'll help a bit.

    2000 CR250 Reed Boot replacement

I may take you up on that if this 99 one doesn't work. Thanks man!
